2019-2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LED bulb size guide

Looking for the correct 2019–2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 bulb size? This guide covers 2019, 2020 and 2021 Silverado 1500 trucks equipped with the factory replaceable-bulb halogen headlight configuration and includes low beam, high beam, fog lights, turn signals, reverse lights, brake lights, cargo lighting, interior lighting, and license plate bulbs.

The most important thing to verify before ordering headlight bulbs is your truck's factory headlight configuration. Silverado 1500 trucks equipped with the base-level halogen headlight assembly use replaceable H11 low-beam and 9005/HB3 high-beam bulbs. Higher-level factory LED headlight assemblies use integrated LED lighting and do not use these conventional replacement headlight bulbs.

Important Headlight Fitment Note: This guide's H11 and 9005 LED headlight recommendations apply to 2019–2021 Silverado 1500 trucks equipped with factory halogen/base-level headlights. Factory LED-equipped trucks use integrated LED headlight assemblies.

2019 to 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 halogen headlight bulb size and LED upgrade guide

Factory Halogen vs Factory LED Headlights

The 2019–2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was available with more than one factory headlight configuration.

Factory Halogen / Base-Level Headlights

The replaceable-bulb halogen headlight configuration uses:

  • Low Beam: H11
  • High Beam: 9005/HB3

These are the headlight applications covered by the FUZED LED upgrades in this guide.

Factory LED Headlights

Higher-level factory headlight assemblies use integrated LED lighting rather than conventional H11 and 9005 replacement bulbs.

If your Silverado is equipped with factory LED headlights, do not order H11 or 9005 headlight bulbs based on this guide.

Check Before Ordering: If you are unsure whether your Silverado has factory halogen or factory LED headlights, inspect the rear of the headlight housing before ordering replacement bulbs.

Low Beam Headlight — H11

Factory halogen-equipped 2019–2021 Silverado 1500 trucks use an H11 low-beam bulb.

Compatible FUZED LED H11 bulbs can replace the original halogen low beam and provide a brighter, whiter output while retaining the factory headlight housing.

High Beam Headlight — 9005 / HB3

The factory halogen high beam uses a separate 9005/HB3 bulb.

Factory Fog Lights — Integrated LED

The factory fog-light configuration covered by this guide uses an integrated factory LED fog-light assembly rather than a conventional replaceable bulb.

Because there is no removable halogen bulb in this assembly, there is no direct FUZED LED bulb replacement for the factory fog light.

Front Turn Signal — 7443

The replaceable front turn-signal bulb size is 7443.

Because turn-signal electronics and vehicle configurations can affect hyperflash and compatibility, verify that the LED product is intended for this exact application before ordering.

2019–2021 Silverado 1500 Rear Lighting Bulb Sizes

Reverse Light — 921 / T15

The reverse-light position uses a 921/T15 bulb.

FUZED LED 921 reverse-light bulbs provide brighter white illumination behind the truck, improving visibility when backing up at night.

Rear Brake & Turn Signal — 7443

The replaceable rear brake and turn-signal application uses a 7443 bulb.

Verify the exact compatible LED replacement before ordering because brake/turn applications may have different electrical requirements from standard running-light applications.

License Plate Light — 194 / T10

The license plate lights use a 194/T10-family bulb.

Cargo, Third Brake & Interior Lighting

Cargo Lights

The cargo-light configuration covered by this guide uses factory integrated LED lighting rather than conventional replaceable bulbs.

Third Brake Light

The third brake-light configuration uses factory integrated LED lighting.

Interior Map & Dome Lights

The interior map and dome lighting covered by this guide is factory integrated LED and does not use conventional replaceable bulbs.

H11 & 9005 LED Headlight Installation

The H11 low-beam and 9005/HB3 high-beam bulbs are accessed from the rear of the factory halogen headlight assembly.

Remove the appropriate rear headlight cover, disconnect the factory halogen bulb, remove it from the housing, and install the compatible FUZED LED replacement.

Make sure the LED bulb is fully seated and locked into the headlight before reinstalling any factory covers.

Fitment Reminder: These instructions are for the replaceable-bulb factory halogen headlight assembly. Factory LED headlight assemblies do not use H11 or 9005 replacement bulbs.

LED Low-Beam Output & Beam Pattern

A successful LED headlight upgrade should increase usable light output while maintaining the factory headlight's controlled beam pattern.

Correct bulb installation and orientation allow the factory reflector to place the light where it belongs rather than scattering excessive glare above the cutoff.

Low Beam & High Beam Output

The H11 low beams provide the primary controlled nighttime driving pattern, while the 9005/HB3 high beams add substantially more forward illumination when high beams are selected.

Hey Joseph! The Fog lights for this particular model are a factory sealed unit. You cannot replace the bulbs in them unfortunately.
