Looking for the correct bulb sizes for a 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or 3500HD? This guide covers the replaceable bulbs used in Silverado HD trucks equipped with factory halogen headlights, including the H11 low beam, H9 high beam, front turn signals, reverse lights and rear brake/turn signal bulbs.
We have also installed and tested our FUZED LED F1 Series headlight bulbs in the Silverado HD. Below you'll find our actual low-beam and high-beam lux measurements, headlight installation photos, LED fitment information and a complete installation video.
2020–2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD trucks equipped with factory halogen headlights use an H11 low-beam bulb and an H9 high-beam bulb. Our F1 Series H11/H8/H9 LED bulb is designed to fit both applications. If you are upgrading both the low and high beams, you will need two sets of F1 Series LEDs.
How to Identify Halogen vs. Factory LED Silverado HD Headlights
Before ordering replacement headlight bulbs for your 2020–2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD or 3500HD, first determine whether your truck is equipped with factory halogen headlights or factory LED headlights.
The H11 low-beam and H9 high-beam bulb sizes in this guide apply to factory halogen headlight-equipped Silverado HD trucks. Trucks equipped with the factory LED headlight assembly do not use the same replaceable H11 and H9 halogen bulbs.
Compare the factory halogen and factory LED headlight styles on 2020–2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD trucks before ordering replacement headlight bulbs.

2020–2026 Silverado HD Halogen Headlight Bulbs
Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD trucks covered by this guide use two separate replaceable halogen headlight bulbs: an H11 for the low beam and an H9 for the high beam.
Although the factory H11 and H9 halogen bulbs differ in design and wattage, our F1 Series LED bulb is designed as an H11/H8/H9-compatible LED replacement. This allows the same F1 Series bulb set to be used for either the low-beam or high-beam position.

2020–2026 Silverado HD H11 Low-Beam LED Upgrade
The factory halogen low-beam bulb used in the 2020–2026 Silverado HD configuration covered by this guide is H11. We use our F1 Series H11/H8/H9 LED bulbs as the low-beam upgrade.
The F1 Series is designed to provide increased usable light output while positioning the LED emitters to work with the factory headlight housing.

Instead of relying only on advertised bulb output, we measured the light produced through the actual Silverado HD headlight housing. We tested the factory H11 halogen low beam and then repeated the measurement after installing the F1 Series LED bulb.

The factory high-beam bulb in the halogen Silverado HD headlight configuration is an H9.
You do not need a different FUZED LED bulb model for the H9 position. Our F1 Series H11/H8/H9 LED set is designed to work with the H9 high-beam application as well.
If you already purchased one F1 Series set for your H11 low beams, you will need a second set to replace the two H9 high-beam bulbs.

We also measured the factory H9 high-beam output before and after installing the F1 Series LEDs. Keeping the comparison on the same truck allows the difference to be evaluated through the actual Silverado HD high-beam housing.

The low- and high-beam bulbs are accessed from behind the headlight assemblies. On the Silverado HD, access is gained through the inner fender area rather than removing the complete headlight assembly.
Our installation video below walks through the complete process. You can also expand the step-by-step photo instructions here.
View Step-by-Step Silverado HD Headlight Installation
1. Access the Headlight Through the Inner Fender
Begin by creating access to the rear of the headlight assembly through the inner fender area. You will need to remove five torx bit screws (Size T15) to pull the inner fender back. This provides room to reach the factory low- and high-beam bulbs from behind the housing.

2. Locate the Headlight Bulbs
With the inner fender area opened, locate the rear of the headlight housing and the bulb you are replacing. The low beam bulb is going to be on the top, above the high beam bulbs. The high beam bulbs are located on the bottom.

3. Remove the Factory Halogen Bulb
Disconnect the factory electrical connector and spin the bulb counter clockwise to remove it. Avoid touching the glass of a halogen bulb if it will be reused.
4. Install the F1 Series LED Bulb
Insert the F1 Series LED bulb into the factory bulb opening and rotate it into the locked position. Once it is locked in the wire that is on the fan should be going straight down. LED Chips should be shining horizontally (left to right). Connect the F1 Series wiring to the factory headlight connector with the positive (+) and negative (-) symbols on the same side as the locking tab on the factory connector.
5. Check the LED Bulb Installation
Make sure the bulbs are connected properly and working before putting everything back together.
Silverado HD LED Headlight Output & Beam Pattern
After installing the F1 Series bulbs, check both the low- and high-beam operation before completing reassembly. We also recommend checking the headlight pattern against a wall so you can confirm that both bulbs are properly installed and operating as intended.

Do you have pkug and play brake lights for a 2025 silverado 2500 that will not hyper flash? I do not want to have to cut into my wires and add a resistor.
